Candidate Sourcing

GLR can:

Most recruiters spend too much time recruiting and not enough time sourcing or building relationships with candidates.

Common sourcing techniques often result in the flood of resumes we mention above with only a few candidates meeting our quality standards.

Job boards generally produce poor quality candidates and cost more than they deliver in value. Print advertising has limited application for most positions, and also costs more than it can deliver. Radio is fine for certain kinds of markets and positions, but isn't a widely used media for most recruiting.

The most effective source of candidates has always been referrals. These can be from current employees of from professional colleagues or friends. And, your own recruiting website is also one of the best ways to find people with an interest in your products and services and who are likely to be interested in working for your organization.
