Eileen Clegg is a research affiliate for both GLR and the Institute for the Future (www.iftf.org) as well as our senior consultant. Eileen's recent research has focused on education (K-12, university, and corporate) including projects for the U.S. government and a European corporate think tank. Her current research project is the "The Extremophile Response," examining practices of organizations that thrive amid uncertainty and threatening economic conditions.
A longtime journalist and book author, Eileen is also a graphic journalist. Trained in graphic facilitation, Eileen creates visual maps of meetings and conversations through a unique approach she calls "graphic journalism" -- capturing and reframing verbal exchange with visuals that generate creative thought. She has published three books - on creativity, women's issues, and family and has been a speaker at the San Francisco Commonwealth Club, colleges, professional associations, and on national television and radio programs. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from U.C. Berkeley in Philosophy.
