Erik is Vice President of Marketing and Research for Global Learning Resources, Inc. For 13 years, Erik has delivered staffing focused marketing and management solutions for more than 150 organizations across every major industry sector, including many Fortune 500 companies. He joined GLR in 2001 and manages all client marketing research projects and GLR's proprietary report production. He is a senior consultant managing client engagements, conducts customized surveys, analysis of customer metrics, and benchmarking projects. Erik also manages GLR's marketing and production of GLR sponsored events, such as the Australasian Talent Conference in Sydney, Australia and GLR's annual Future of Talent Retreat.
Erik has conducted primary and secondary research, marketing strategies, and consultation for companies including Cisco Systems, Starbucks Coffee Company, BP, Yahoo!, Federated Department Stores, Sutter Health, Lockheed Martin, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, The California Dental Association, Sutter Health, Seagate, and Capital One.
Previously, Erik spent several years developing and managing marketing research departments for Bernard Hodes Group and TMP Worldwide.
Erik is an experienced speaker, presenter, and columnist. He is currently President of the American Marketing Association Sacramento Valley chapter, and he holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
